LIMITLESS - The Exhibition

Surreal Art by Skaii de Vega

The C.A.T art centre is pleased to announce the opening of LIMITLESS, a solo exhibition of new paintings and works on paper by artist Skaii de Vega, on view from September 10th –September 25th, 2016. This is the artist’s first retrospective solo exhibition in Belgium and first with C.A.T

This first major exhibition is fully devoted on bringing the spotlight on  talented Surrealist, Skaii de Vega. Based in Belgium, Skaii is considered to be amongst the most promising contemporary female artist in her genre of artistic expression.

The exhibition presents an unparalled opportunity to discover the artist's inner vision portrayed in her artworks - a ride down the White Rabbit's hole.

A surreal world filled with provocative, symbolic imagery and deep emotions based on the subconscious psyche of today's society. The exhibition will include the majority of Skaii de Vega's works, offering a variety of techniques and subject matters created since the beginning of her career.  A never seen before collection of paintings, drawings and prints will be shown at the exhibition.

The retrospective will showcased in the beautiful glass-domed building, C.A.T (Centrum voor Artistiek Talent), next to the prestigious S.M.A.K Museum of Contemporary Art in Gent.
