What did you wanna say again?

How do you become your true self wholly in a society bridled with expectations and age-old decorum?
Traditions have a way of manicuring ones perceptions to life. Recently relocated to Malaysia, I was confronted to this challenge time and again. Spending half of my life in Europe has reinvented my personality and belief system, making me an alien in my own birth country. These people that I feel so much love and camaraderie with were living in completely different worlds. Communication is censured and there is much that is left unsaid. I feel my soul expression dimming into a shadow, my white rabbits lean down, protecting pearls of wisdom from rolling out my mouth lest they go wasted as the flow of my speech is altered by the cinch of a toe.
The chimera is kneeling upon the breathing plains, it's long leg reaching far depicts the expectations and condemnation of society manipulated by archaic desire and enslaved to ego-centric satisfaction.
How do I transcend this?
